DECEMBER 4, 2007 in RICHMOND, VIRGINIA for EXCELLENCE in QUALITY IMPROVEMENT MEASURES
PLATINUM ACHIEVEMENT AWARD:
Buchanan General Hospital was among the top 10% of all hospitals in
Virginia who received the Platinum Achievement Award for demonstrating
Excellence in sustaining levels in one or multiple clinical areas of Acute
Myocardial Infarction (heart attack), Heart Failure, and Pneumonia Quality
Care Measures. The Platinum Achievement Award represents benchmark
hospitals in Virginia
GOLD ACHIEVEMENT AWARD:
The Gold Achievement Award represents hospitals in Virginia that
Achieved their goals in the treatment of Acute Myocardial Infarction (heart
attack), Heart Failure and Pneumonia, sustaining their levels for an
extended period of time.
SILVER ACHIEVEMENT AWARD:
The Silver Achievement Award was received in recognition for reporting
Quality measures data; and passing validation for 4 consecutive quarters.
