BGH VISITATION POLICY CHANGES
Help Us Keep our Patients, Staff and Community Safe
Due to the recent increase of positive Covid-19 cases in the community, effective June 30, 2020, Buchanan General Hospital will reinstitute certain restrictions regarding hospital visitation. These measures are taken in an abundance of caution to ensure the safety of our community and staff. These restrictions are subject to change without notice. Additional information can be obtained by contacting the hospital operator, visiting BGH Facebook page or from the screening checkpoint at the ER entrance to the hospital.
No visitors are allowed at Buchanan General Hospital at this time with limited exceptions for pediatric patients and those patients who are critically ill.
Everyone that enters the facility, including hospital staff, is being screened with a temperature check and a checklist of risk factors before entering the hospital to keep our employees, patients and the community safe.
Outpatient services remain open. Please give the screener your order for outpatient services to review and they will give you further instructions.
Anyone needing copies of their medical records is asked to call the Medical Record department ahead of time at 935-1273 or 1274. These records will be brought to you at the screeners desk.
No bills may be paid on site. You are asked to pay bills by mail, e-mail, or over the phone.
The cafeteria will be closed to the public at this time.
